Classes and Workshops provide sewing demonstration, instruction, and the opportunity to practice new skills. Learning to use a sewing machine and constructing a garment are very empowering experiences, boosting self-esteem. Sewing also helps develop fine motor skills as well as spatial concepts and understanding.

Inspired by Project Runway, this week long camp captivates children ages 8 and up. The focus is on fashion with an emphasis on creativity and having fun! Students create a garment for themselves over the course of camp. They explore fashion through both illustration and making mood/vision boards. The week culminates with a runway fashion show complete with lights and music and the applause of their adoring fans - Their Parents! Join us for a week or two of Funky Fashion Fun!

Most of Jennifer's Classes take place at The Sewing Room, a unique sewing workshop and boutique situated in the quaint town of Alameda, CA. Inside this remarkable gem of a shop, you can find Jennifer's pattern collection under the label Bonjour Teaspoon - unique and stylish sewing patterns made for Tween girls and their 18" dolls.
